About Us

Awella Gardens is Josh and Tiffany, a husband and wife team in New Haven, Vermont.  Both born and raised in Vermont, we found each other in the rainforest of Oregon thirty years ago. 

 

​For us, growing plants from seed to harvest is an opportunity to go slow, observe, appreciate, learn and adapt. These are principles we whole-heartedly believe in and live by. 

​

We build our own indoor soil-based medium using soil food web principles for balanced, healthy soil that reflects a natural ecosystem. Our inputs are fermented in-house from cannabis biomass, burdock, local grasses and other foraged materials.

Growing with a hybrid approach of the Sea of Green method, created by Wolf Segal (aka The Farmer in the Sky), and the Cannsettia technique, developed by Michael J. Alden. We strive to develop an even canopy to maximize energy use in our small environment.

Josh has been cultivating cannabis for personal use, friends and family since 1996. Awella Gardens is a Tier 1 Indoor Cultivator, licensed in the State of Vermont since 2023.
